Samera joined InStyle in October 2020, bringing her passion and expertise to our team. She began her career journey in August 2018, inspired by her love for Islamic architecture, which was nurtured by her upbringing in Saudi Arabia. Her design influences are diverse, drawing from Pinterest, set designs, art museums, and following interior designers and local artists on Instagram.
A fun fact about Samera is her love for swimming. She was part of a swimming team in Saudi Arabia and remains passionate about the sport, even waking up in the middle of the night to watch the Tokyo Olympics swimming events. To date, Samera has worked on approximately 80-90 projects, showcasing her dedication and creativity.
Outside of work, Samera loves traveling to experience different cultures through their cuisine and architectural history. She enjoys exploring cities on foot and discovering new places, earning her the title of designated restaurant finder among her friends and family.
