Damini earned her BA in Interior Architecture and Design, where she built a strong grounding in spatial planning and detailing. Her career has taken her from luxury housing and high-profile developments to award-winning fabrication firms, giving her hands-on experience in property, fit-outs, and the commercial and hospitality sectors.

With a strong track record in property development and furnishing, Sian brings a creative flair to InStyle Direct, designing interiors that feel personal, uplifting, and functional. Damini enjoys exploring colours, especially pastels, which gives her a unique perspective, as seen in her recent scheme for Benham & Reeves’ Malaysia office. Her international experience and ability to handle large-scale projects give her a unique perspective when it comes to designing spaces and meeting the specific needs of global clients.

Damini finds her design inspiration in travel, painting, literature, and art exhibitions. Exploring new cultures, experimenting with colours, and visualising spaces through stories all influence her design approach.

London and Dubai’s blend of heritage and innovation inspires her daily. She particularly admires the Serpentine Gallery's bold use of curves and colours. For her, the UK and UAE property market is exciting because it’s constantly evolving, offering the chance to design interiors that are fresh, distinctive, and timeless.
